 Jay Moore & Jude Sargent The two of us fell in love and then fell in love with the land at Pie-in-the-Sky, where we came to live after getting married in 1985. Though we have career backgrounds as academics and social change activists, we are jack-of-all-trade sorts who like to practice some of the old crafts such as maple syrup, cider and beer making, sewing, knitting, quilt making, jelly making, fruit preserving, and canning the products of our large garden. Our conversational interests turn to history, anthropology, politics, literature, environmentalism, and travel. We live with a couple of cats in a separate wing of the farmhouse from the guest quarters.
